Dear Customer,

Please find attached the datasheets for our new amplifier system, the Legend Elite. We have taken the liberty of sending this literature package to you as the Legend Elite marks  a significant step in taking ultra-fast amplifier systems from being the subjects of attention in the clean room labs of yesterday, to the tools of today and tomorrow. The Legend Elite was introduced earlier this year at Photonics West and, after a straightforward 2 hour install, was operating at <30fs and >3mJ during the exhibition all week. This is remarkable as the system was operating at better than specifications in an environment with wildly varying temperatures and changing airflow. As a test of the marketing statement "Better Ultrafast Every Day", this was a clear demonstration of new capabilities in this field. In fact this was the unique example in the exhibition hall.

The performance of this table demonstration is not just the result of a new amplifier, but an example of the amplifier as a total system. The Verdi pumped Micra oscillator stands alone in this market place as the most stable short pulse oscillator available, and coupled with the proven qualities of the Verdi pump, provides the best possible seed source for an amplifier system. Design changes and engineering development of the Legend, itself a derivative of the well established Positive Light ancestry, have yielded the Legend Elite; Better Ultrafast Every Day.

Moreover you can add our new OPerA Solo OPA with INTEGRATED wavelengths extension and separators to achieve extended tuning range (190-2600nm) in a very compact 3-Boxes configuration (see below typical system lay-out).
